Steiff Dark Blue Alpaca GALERIE Bear 673160. Steiff GALERIE TEDDY BEAR is an exclusive to Steiff Galleries. This is a pretty rare bear to find and was produced in 2009 in a limited edition of just 1,000 worldwide. This bear is numbered #527/ 1000. She measures approximately 25 cm /9.5 inches tall and is fully jointed.

GALERIE is made from a beautiful short-pile alpaca, very soft and in a very dark / navy shade of blue - making her very unusual. She has a shaved / trimmed back muzzle and small, sparkling black eyes.

Her nose, mouth and claws have been hand-stitched in gold thread, giving her a regal look against her midnight blue velvet paw pads. GALERIE wears a miniature cream leather collar, with 7 slightly aged, tiny brass jingle bells. Finally, she of course has the famous gold-plated'Button in Ear' - white ear tag with red writing to signify she is a Limited Edition. She is just a beautiful bear who comes from a smoke-free Adult collector's home.

She is complete with her chest tag, certificate of authenticity and an original Steiff box.
