Magnificent vtg 49 long FEMALE mink coat DIRECTIONAL pelts, superb DESIGN MINT

  

This is the most beautiful 49 long ankle length genuine female mink fur swingbacked coat in MINT condition with stunning directional pelts. The fur is very very soft silky and supple. There is a LOT of fur in this coat as you can see from the photographs. It's a gorgeous design, the fully stranded pelts have been laid from the front and centre back meeting at the sides in a fabulous rounded pattern and giving a softly scalloped hemline.

There is a pretty rounded split at the centre back hemline. The front bottom edges are rounded to match the back split.

The pelts are narrower at the top then gradually widen to the hemline so it swings and sways when walking. Hidden slit pockets in seams lined in black velvet. The lovely rounded shawl collar is backed with fur, can be worn up or down.

The fabulous HUGE sleeves are laid in diagonal pelts and narrow to tight cuffs to keep out the wind. The shoulders are very lightly padded to keep the shape. The colour is gorgeous, a very glossy black/brown with shades of deep chestnut in sunlight. The underfur is darkest brown, thick and dense and the very long silky guardhair is dark brown/black.

Lined in beautifully coloured paisley patterned satin, no holes or marks, super condition. Fastens with three furrier clips, the eyes are set-in 2 from the edge. There is a lovely large art deco style button and elastic loop to fasten to the throat. Please use a padded coathanger.

There is no odour to this at all. Measurements as follows from the lining side. Length centre back from base of collar 49. Pit to pit 25 (due to the swingback style).

Sleeve length from shoulder edge 25. Sleeve width at armpit area 11" so 22" all round. I'm a UK12/14, fits a little loosely as designed. Suitable for sizes 10-16, possibly 18 I would say, but please check measurements against a coat/jacket of your own to ensure that it will fit.

It's floor length on me but I'm only 5'2. There is a LOT of fur in this, weighs just over 2.4 kilos unpackaged so will be posted UK courier signed for and insured.
