Beautiful vtg IVORY/BLACK cross real mink fur longer length SWING jacket, MINT

  

This is an amazingly beautiful 30 long longer length genuine cross mink fur SWING jacket in MINT condition. The fur is extremely soft silky and supple, no thinning shedding or guardhair loss. Made by the highly respected Hector Hunter of London. Will keep you warm whilst looking very glam! There is a LOT of fur in this coat as you can see from the photographs.

It's a gorgeous design, the fully stranded pelts have been laid vertically giving a softly scalloped hemline. The pelts widen down from the shouders to create the swing and sway when walking.

It has hidden slit pockets in seams lined in the same lovely satin as the lining of the jacket and edged with ivory grosgrain ribbon to strengthen and protect. The fur goes into the pockets by 1 a sign of top quality.

The lovely rounded slightly fluted collar is backed with fur and can be worn up or down. The wide sleeves are full length and gathered over tight cuffs to keep out the wind. The colours are gorgeous, ivory white and black, known as Kohinoor in the trade. The underfur is almost white, thick and dense and the long silky guardhair is ivory and black. The markings are fabulous and match all round the jacket.

Lined in beautiful ivory flower-embroidered satin, no holes or marks, super condition. French-hemmed and double-lined, another sign of great quality. There is a hidden pocket at the lining edge. Monogrammed with JES in matching silk thread.

Fastens with two hook and eyes and a hook and loop under the collar to fasten to the throat, the eyes are set-in 2 from the edge. Please use a padded coathanger.

There is no odour to this at all. Measurements as follows from the lining side.

Length centre back from base of collar 30. Pit to pit 23.5. Sleeve length from shoulder edge 23. Sleeve width 9" doubled 18". I'm a UK12/14, fits a little loosely when fastened so suitable for sizes 12-16 possibly small 18 I would say, but please check measurements against a coat/jacket of your own to ensure that it will fit. It is almost knee length on me but I'm only 5'2.

There is a LOT of fur in this, weighs almost 1.7 kilos unpackaged so will be posted UK courier signed for and insured.
